Women in Leadership - Business Retreat

If you are looking to grow your leadership effectiveness or you're at a career crossroads, this retreat offers professional guidance and restorative well-being experiences. Spend time in small group workshops with our expert leadership coach, Janet Walter, to clarify your purpose and confidence, foster emotional intelligence, in particular self-awareness and empathy, and grow essential skills leading people. 

Our small group workshops will allow you to meet like-minded business women, form new connections and learn from each other as well as our experienced leadership coach. Workshop content is tailored to the needs of retreat guests. 

Take a break from everyday routine, nourish your body in our fine dining restaurant, connect with nature, and take time for relaxation and reflection. You will be pampered in our beautiful day spa and feel nurtured like you are at a home away from home. This retreat will have you walking away feeling reset, with a sense of purpose and confidence. You’ll feel ready to lead others with authenticity, influence and energy. 

JANET WALTER

Janet is a leadership facilitator, executive coach and keynote speaker with over 15 years’ experience. If you would like to engage and develop your team, talent or leadership, Janet will carefully design workshop content with just the right focus, tone and outcomes, specifically for each business retreat guest. 

 

She brings over 1000 hours of facilitation experience including working with clients such as ANZ, NAB, CSIRO, Engineering Education Australia, and Agilent Technologies.

JO HAND

Jo is a qualified practitioner of Nutritional Medicine and Kinesiologist at Lux Spa & Wellness. She is dedicated to helping individuals discover what is holding them back. Jo looks at the nutritional, emotional and environmental factors that cause imbalances in the body and the role of nutrition for optimal health and well-being.

RETREAT SCHEDULE

Day 1

  • From 12noon Arrive at Great Ocean Road Resort, be greeted by your retreat hosts Michelle & Jo and tour of the facilities

  • 12:45pm - 2pm Welcome lunch at our onsite fine dining restaurant The Coast with your retreat hosts

  • 2pm – 3:30pm Arrival at Lux Spa & Wellness for indulgent spa treatments

  • 5pm – 6:30pm Leisure time or Infrared Sauna session (highly recommended for detoxification)

  • 7pm Dinner at our onsite fine dining restaurant The Coast

Day 2

  • 7:15am - 8:15am Yoga Class with Amanda

  • 8:15am – 8:45am Time to shower and freshen up

  • 8:45am – 9:30am Nourishing breakfast and start of workshop

  • 9:30am – 1:30pm Leadership workshop with Janet Walter (includes 15-minute break)

  • 1:30pm – 2:15pm Lunch and leisure time

  • 2:15pm – 3:15pm Leadership workshop with Janet

  • 3:30pm – 5pm Mindfulness session at Lux Spa & Wellness

  • 7pm – 8:30pm Retreat group dinner at The Coast

Day 3

  • 7:15am - 8:30am Yoga Class with Amanda

  • 8:15am – 9am Time to shower and freshen up

  • 9am – 10am Nourishing breakfast and start workshop with Janet

  • 10am – 12noon Leadership workshop with Janet

  • 12noon – 2pm Guided nature walk with lunch on walk OR lunch and leisure time

  • 2:20pm – 3:50pm Arrival at Lux Spa & Wellness and relax in client lounge prior to your treatments

  • 7pm Retreat group dinner at The Coast

Day 4

  • 7:15am - 8:30am Yoga Class with Amanda

  • 8:15am – 9am Time to shower and freshen up

  • 9am – 10am Nourishing breakfast – Workshop with Janet

  • 10am – 11am Guided group tea ceremony, singing bowls & reflection with Michelle & Jo

  • 11am – 12noon Leisure time 

  • 12noon Group farewell & check-out

PRICING

$4,365.00 per person single share

$3,752.00 per person twin share

Terms & Conditions

 

Booking Deposits

  • A 20% deposit is required at time of booking to secure your spot in this wellness retreat.

  • The outstanding balance is required 30 days prior to arrival.

  • If the wellness retreat is booked within 30 days of arrival, 100% payment is required at the time of booking.

Postponement & Cancellation Policy

  • For postponements more than 21 days prior to the wellness retreat, payment is transferable to a new wellness retreat date with an administration fee of $100.

  • For postponements within 21 days of the wellness retreat, 50% of payment is transferable to a new wellness retreat date and the remaining balance is non-refundable.

  • Payment is non-refundable in the event of cancellation within 30 days if not transferring to a new wellness retreat date.
