The Ultimate Self-Care Guide

Let’s face it, we’re all a little bit stressed out! And guess what, you deserve some well-earned self-care!

If you don’t have a usual self-care routine, that’s okay. We’re here to guide you through it… and if you do have a self-care routine, here are some things you can do to take it to the next level.

Practice gratitude

When we wake up in the morning, it’s easy to go straight to your phone to check the time or turn off your alarm which is easily followed by checking your social media accounts, messages or whatever it may be.

But, what if you were to turn off your alarm, put your phone down before you get sucked in and think about 3 things you are grateful for? It also helps to write it down, so you can reflect on these before you go to bed after a long day. It is easier than you think! We have so many things to be grateful for and recognising these first thing will change your attitude and perspective on the day.

Get up and move your body

Whether you are working from home or watching Netflix all day, it’s important to move your body, get your heart pumping and your blood flowing. You can do this however you like but it may be going for a walk, doing 10 star jumps, stretching your body or some yoga.

Increase of blood flow will nourish your skin cells, carry oxygen and nutrients to your cells and is pretty much cleansing your body from the inside out. Even better, get out into nature and breathe in the fresh air!
